Our Work

Social and
Emotional
Learning
(SEL)

Social and emotional skills are the foundation of a healthy individual, and psychology researchers couldn’t agree more. Our feelings accompany us everywhere we go, and no matter how hard we try, we cannot leave them at the door. We see them as extra fittings, but they are actually integral to our human existence.

Teachers and parents are constantly modelling behaviour and thinking. Their emotions affect their judgements, communication, and in turn, their relationships with children during the formative stage. There’s a lot at stake.

We all understand that a teacher’s primary job is to help children learn important life skills and knowledge, so they are sufficiently equipped to take on the world as adults. But how can we expect teachers to teach from an infinitely growing knowledge base if they themselves can’t access it?

A key to the world of knowledge for teachers is staying updated on the latest research and findings in the relevant fields. From subject matter to understanding brain development in children, the world is changing but the resources available to our teachers haven't moved an inch.

This is where we come into the picture. Our goal is to provide the teachers with access to all these resources in the form of summaries and bite-sized materials.

Project
SPAG

UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) aims to keep children in school and ensure equitable, quality education for all. Projections before the pandemic were not hopeful of meeting the 2030 education targets. The COVID-19 crisis has only deepened the inequalities in education worldwide. Remote learning has remained out of reach for most students in rural areas. With all this, the learning gaps have been widening significantly. It's inevitable to close these gaps and get students back on track to progress creditably towards SDG 4.

This project aims to bridge the gaps in math learning at the elementary level. It also helps identify the gaps in teaching through extensive data analysis and organizing relevant training programs for teachers to enhance math teaching methodologies.

“A library is a rainbow in the clouds” – Maya Angelou

A library is a place where all information and knowledge belong to everyone, helping us to understand that we are not alone in the way we feel and think. Yet, access to books can itself be a fantasy.

When given access, books can be a blessing or life-changer for a child. That’s why we retell stories preserving the pleasures of the original illustrations in a language that’s easily understandable by the kids.
